Puppies were born April 5th, 2012 and should be ready to go new homes at the end of May!

Welcome to AnA Ranch. We raise Angus cows and Anatolian Shepherds on our small ranch in Galt, CA. We have had cattle for many years but it was not until 2006 that we purchased our first Anatolian Sheperd Pup, Cody. You see we are fond of large breed dogs but not of the shorter life expectancy that unfortunately is often had with larger breeds. It wasn't until our Grandaughter, Cheyenne, came across the Anatolian Shepherd in a breed book and saw that it has a better life expectancy than most large breeds that we really started researching the breed.

Diamond Oaks Cody, our first Anatolian Shepherd addition to the family, was born 01/03/2006. He was already a monster of a puppy when he came home at 8 weeks, weighing 25lbs, and he continued to grow until his present size of 34" in height (from top of shoulder to ground) and weighs 175lbs.

Horizon's Shania, our second Anatolia Shepherd addition to the family, was born on 05/26/2008. Being female she weighed approximately 15 -18 lbs when she was brought home at 8 weeks, still a large puppy by any standards, she is now 30" (from top of shoulder to ground) and weighs 126lbs. Both parents are AKC registered, OFA certified, and onsite for any prospective buyers to meet and greet.
